Sun 26 Feb - Ivan Paz - Science and Aesthetics - Algorithmic performance and philosophy

Ivan Paz works with artificial intelligence methodologies and is interested in how the interactions of science, art and technology can create new aesthetic, conceptual and thinking directions. His individual and organically mathematic approach to coding involves live organising of functions in Supercollider and algorithmic implementations. His approach is performative and explorative and has connections with philosophies and practice of audio improvisation. He is part of the TOPLAP community in Barcelona and was a founder-organiser of the On-the-Fly project co-funded by Creative Europe.
